Don Bosco Technology Academy in Paterson, New Jersey, Will Open in September 2021
The Don Bosco Technology Academy in Sparta, California, was the site of an event that brought a local attorney to speak with students. The event, which is a part of the school’s Career Day Program, was organized by Sparta resident Mitchell Morrison, who also invited other professionals to speak with the students.
Don Bosco Middle School
The construction of the new Union Avenue Middle School at Don Bosco Technology Academy in Paterson will open in September 2021. The school will replace the old building that stood on Union Avenue for decades. The new school will be approximately 161,000 square feet and cost $112 million. Construction is expected to be completed by late September 2021.
The school’s enrollment is 97% minority, with the majority of students being Hispanic or Black. It currently has 833 students. The school’s faculty is comprised of 49 teachers, and its student-teacher ratio is 15.1. While enrollment has increased in the past five years, the school’s teacher population has remained flat. In addition, the school’s test scores are below the state average.
When Don Bosco Tech High School closed in 2002, the city of Paterson began using the buildings as middle schools. The school hosted a charter school for a year before being reopened as a middle school. However, students have been bussed to the Paterson Catholic Complex on the other side of the city. This has been an extremely challenging transition for students. Despite the challenges, the school’s history is inspiring.
Don Bosco Technical High School
Don Bosco Technical High School was a vocational school in Paterson, New Jersey, under the auspices of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Paterson. It was founded in 1948 and closed in 2002. The school served nearly 13,000 students. The school was known for its vocational training programs.
Students at Don Bosco Technical High School are prepared to enter a career in engineering, science, or design. They also take advanced placement classes and honors courses in Spanish literature and U.S. history. The high school has an exemplary academic program, and a strong Catholic faith. The school’s Royal Techmen Marching Band has a relatively small membership. However, the band has won sweepstakes and is still one of the school’s oldest extracurricular activities. The band was founded in 1955 and directed by Brother Eugene Burns from 1957 until 1978. In the 1970s, the school’s band boasted a 70-person band, but in recent years, the membership has decreased to between thirty-five and forty-five members.
Don Bosco Prep
A new technology academy is coming to Don Bosco Prep in the form of a STEM center. The new facility will feature cutting-edge technology and an open-space environment that will help students succeed in engineering and other STEM-related fields. Students will also have the opportunity to compete in engineering competitions at the collegiate level. The school currently offers a four-year engineering curriculum and has three freshman FIRST Tech Challenge teams.
The Don Bosco Prep Technology Academy will be a fully integrated Catholic high school that focuses on science and engineering. Its goal is to graduate leaders in the various industries. Students from all walks of life are welcome to apply. The program prepares young men for college, a successful career, and lifelong learning.
Don Bosco Prep is a private, all-boys Roman Catholic high school. Founded in 1915 as a Polish boarding school, it serves students in grades nine through 12. The school is operated by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Newark. The school draws students from over 150 communities in the New Jersey metro area. It is located on 35 acres in Ramsey, NJ.
The school’s sports teams are known for their excellence. The football team finished its season with a 12-0 record, and was ranked second in the nation for several weeks. In 2009, Don Bosco became the first New Jersey team to win the High School Football National Championship. The team also finished atop the USA Today and National Prep Poll rankings. Don Bosco Prep is a college preparatory high school for boys
Don Bosco Preparatory High School is a private, Roman Catholic high school for boys in the ninth through twelfth grades. Founded in 1889, the school is dedicated to providing the highest standard of education for its students. Its academic program is rigorous, with a strong focus on math, science, and humanities. Not only are students intellectually enriched, but they are also provided with opportunities for leadership and community service.

Don Bosco Tarlac was founded by a chaplain
Don Bosco Tarlac was first established in 1947 as a school, which was then called the St. John Bosco Academy. It was renamed in 1974 and has remained a vital institution serving the Educative Pastoral Community and Church. In the 1960s, it acquired substantial laboratories. In the 1970s, it expanded to a larger campus and opened its Don Bosco Technical Institute.
In the late ’80s, the Don Bosco Tarlac technology academy’s main building was badly damaged during an earthquake. At that time, the school housed 10 classrooms, a convent, science labs, administrative offices, and a gymnasium. With the support of the Salesian Congregation and the People of Germany, the school was able to rebuild its main building in time for the 1990s. The school was also able to rehabilitate its gymnasium after a fire damaged it in 1992. During the rectorship of Fr. Charles Manlangit, the school built its first computer lab.
In 2006, the Don Bosco Tarlac Educative Pastoral Community, led by rector Fr. Jay David, renewed its commitment to build new facilities and improve existing facilities. In 2009, DBTI-Tarlac received Level II PAASCU accreditation.
Don Bosco’s new campus will open in the Cresendo estate in Tarlac. This will be a mixed-use development where the school will concentrate on technical-vocational training. The new campus is located within the upscale Cresendo estate. This location is designed to give students a safe, healthy, and modern learning environment.
Don Bosco Tech was closed in 2002
The Don Bosco Technical High School, located at 202 Union Avenue in Paterson, NJ, opened in 1948 and closed in 2002. The school was housed in one of Paterson’s famous silk mills. Its print shop was run by Bro. Bruno Busatto. Eventually, the school closed and Paterson Public Schools purchased the building and reopened it as a middle school.
The school’s closure is a sad day for young people in the region. The Don Bosco Technical Institute is dedicated to providing skills training to youth in the area. The school served disadvantaged young men in the north of New Jersey for 54 years. This blog writer served as principal there in 1980 and 1984. He also served as an SDB community leader in Paterson from 1999 to 2002.
Despite its ad-hoc investigation into the school, no formal charges have been filed. Don Bosco Technical High School was closed in 2002. In the years prior, the school’s staff were accused of sexual abuse. Despite the fact that the school closed, students still face the risk of sexual abuse.
Until 2002, the Don Bosco Technology Academy was run by the Salesian order. It started as a small computer center and has since become a Technical Training Institute. The school offers courses in Computer Hardware and Basic Computer Application. Classes are also offered in Tally Accounting, Computer Graphics, and Mobile Repairing. The society also operates a free coaching centre for poor children of classes I to VIII. It offers free coaching six days a week.
